With the summer coming to an end, many new or redesigned vehicles are making their way into dealerships near you, one of them being the 2016 Honda Civic debuting this Fall in the US. Honda announced this week that the new 10th generation Civic has received its best face-lift to date, which is exciting to hear since the current Civic model was disappointing for most consumers. The new platform will have a 3 inch longer wheel base for more cabin room which gives the Civic the largest interior cabin space available in it’s class. Honda also states that the cabin is quieter and more refined. The base engine offered is a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder, but why get that when you can upgrade to a 1.5 liter TURBO charged 4 cylinder, which is Honda’s first turbo charged engine being offered in the US! Some tech upgrades include Honda Sensing Technologies and a 7-inch touchscreen that will support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This makes connecting your phone to your car extremely simple and also allows drivers to access most apps and features in their phones, making apps such as Google Maps much safer to use while driving. As if this wasn’t enough news, not only will the Civic be offered in it’s usual sedan and coupe models but Honda is also releasing a five door hatch back. But, even more exciting then a hatchback, is the possibility of a Type R performance model that is said to debut in showrooms in 2016. Ahh!!
